Food & Garden

Food is one of the most basic human needs, and as such learning to be self-sustainable with food is a very high priority. Of course, there are many many levels to being self sustainable with food, and they depend a lot on your location, environment, resources, finances, and any number of other factors.

For now we are in a city and unable to own livestock, so pursuing sustainability currently means growing some of our own food, buying clean unprocessed ingredients, bulk meats (like half a pig), and learning canning, fermenting, and using ‘whole’ ingredients.

What could it look like for your situation?
